Concept Words

1.「REdesign」＝もう一度デザインする

  • “RE” には「再び」「やり直す」「新たに見直す」という意味があります。
  • つまり REdesign は「従来のデザインを見直し、再構築する」という姿勢を表します。
  • 単なる形や構造のデザインではなく、「社会のしくみ」「人の暮らし」「環境との関係」そのものを再設計するという広い概念です。

2. 「with Nature」＝自然とともに

  • “with” は「〜と共に」「〜と協働して」という意味。
  • ここでは「自然を利用する」でも「自然を保護する」でもなく、自然と共に生きる・創る という対等な関係を示します。
  • 人間中心から自然共生型の発想へ――という現代の環境デザインの根幹にある考え方です。

3. 両者を合わせた意味

「REdesign with Nature」は、私たちTONZAKOデザインの理念を象徴する言葉です。
人と自然の関係を見つめ直し、空間・都市・ライフスタイルを“自然と共生するかたち”へと再構築する。それは、自然を守るだけでなく、共に生き、学び、創造していく新しいデザインの姿です。
